URBAN PLANNING

The focus of our work is cities. This does not simply mean built form (buildings, roads, infrastructure, etc.), it also means the social and economic activities that happen in cities.

ADVOCACY

We believe that effective public engagement and education are the foundation of successful advocacy. At the same time, it is imperative that elected officials and other stakeholders understand the issues and opportunities at hand. We work hard to push for positive change from all angles. By creating larger conversations and city-wide dialogue we foster the conditions in which changes can occur.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

Are you looking for direction? Do you need to align your activities with larger goals? Let our team help you find your way, correct your course, and ensure that you are working as efficiently as possible towards your goals.

OUR APPROACH

At Municipaction, we love a good challenge. We are problem solvers, momentum generators, and frequent collaborators.

We're capable of diving deep - tapping into our expertise in urban planning, economics, social movements, marketing, and community building - to achieve desired outcomes.

Our strengths lie in communicating to diverse audiences in any setting. From speaking in front of legislators, to graphically communicating a topic to a neighbourhood association, we understand the importance of framing. We have extensive experience translating abstract concepts into tangible, actionable outcomes, and examining challenges from multiple scales to reach optimal solutions.

Above all, we champion collaboration. Whether it's leveraging our extensive network of connections or tapping into the knowledge, expertise, and lived experience of residents, we believe the best and most creative solutions come from the ground up.
